This little donut hut in the corner of a busy cross way is really a hidden gem. First a shout out to Elizabeth and Martha for always smiling and getting our requests finished at lightning speed. This location features so many doughnuts we Lo crave that rival the little Krispy Kreme's that are overall sweet. Their selections including all classics and unique doughnuts like chocolate glazed cake doughnut holes and other specialities during holidays that are festive. The place over carries sandwiches, some hot foods I've yet to try and quite a few speciality drinks and things like hot and iced coffee. There are also some unique Mexican influenced breads and drinks available in the refrigerated glass display. This location is open 24 hours and have never seen it close in the years I've been stopping by.
We usually come pretty late at night and it's either Elizabeth or Martha taking care of us. They're very friendly and provide great service. Been coming for over 10 years on and off. It's not Krispy Kreme or Randy's but honestly Krispy Kreme's are way too sweet, and Randy's (Pasadena one) has too strong an oil taste that has to be covered up with glaze. Still like them for their individual charms, just not all the time. So if your looking for great "normal" donuts available 24/7, the ones here are definitely delicious and fluffy. I can vouch for their standard donuts: chocolates, glazed, jelly filled, cakes, old fashions, etc. All awesome. Note: the choco cake glazed donut holes are amazing and they even have good crullers (make sure to eat those when fresh). Never been a huge fan of their extra items like croissants, cream puffs, danish, and muffins etc, but there's a huge variety. The chilla drinks are really good too if you can afford the sugar on sugar action. The location is on the corner of a huge 5-way intersection so it can be a bit annoying to get out of. Please do not confuse this with the one up on Fair Oaks. That one's not very good.
